In our meeting yesterday we rephrased and confirmed the questions that we will give our participants of our pilot study. We also discussed how we will layout and order our powerpoint presentation, by assigning a different section for each of us to focus on. It was decided that group members that looked at the same advert pair will combine their notes and literature, to form a presentable analysis of the adverts.
We then looked at our transcripts for each advert and thought that we should ensure that the key conventions used are consistent, which Ryan volunteered to check. Our next meeting will be on Friday, when we will confirm how we will carry out our pilot study and discuss any comments made by Alison from our meeting later today. This will enable us to alter anything important, which will be useful in the final stages of our research project. We will also organise how our presentation will be divided in terms of time allowance for each person and slide.
