In todays group meeting we discussed the feedback from Alison's drop in session the previous week. We then were able to collectively decide that we would be abandoning the pilot study we had initially wanted to do, due to the reliability and relevance issues the study potentially posed. The focus then shifted to other ads that we could find and use in support of our analysis findings from our initial pairs of advertisements.
The next step was then the construction of the powerpoint presentation itself. We collectively began seperating and typing up our notes and findings into the powerpoint in order to clarify and make an indefinite layout for the presentation. The session was spent primarily focused on the powerpoint construction and adding all the relevant information such as, transcriptions that Ryan had worked on and the analysis findings.
The aim for tomorrows meeting is to continue finalising the design of the presentation itself and to deepen our analysis discussion within the powerpoint. This will then allow us to be prepared for the upcoming audio recording when completing the powerpoint presentation.
