The opportunity to design my own questionnaire highlighted
the need for new skills to successfully refine my questions whilst still
staying relevant to the research topic, thus presenting me with a clear set of
appropriate data ready for analysis. My ability to analyse data improved during
the literature review where I learnt not only to critically analyse and evaluate
arguments, but also the ability to present them as supporting or opposing views
to my own postulations. This skill proved especially useful within the corpus
study where my argument was supported by the vast expanse of data made available
to me.
