Being able to design an individual questionnaire based on a research
topic meant I learnt new skills to apply to my project. This included factors
such as ethics and reliability which is important when trying to obtain any
relevant or useful data. The corpus analysis study showed me volumes of data
readily available to me, that I was unfamiliar with until I began the Independent
Study module. Literature reviews allowed me to see the importance of analysing
the data as a whole in a clear and concise manner. This basic knowledge will
aid in developing a research/data focused approach this year that can be
applied to my studies and group projects.
